CIRSL Counsellors are available 24 hours a day seven days a week to take your call. Whether you are health care staff, a patient, or the family/friend of a patient we know calling may be a difficult decision. We are here to help you through the reporting process. Counsellors answering the phones are employees of Klinic Community Health Centre and are trained in medical terminology.
Counselors are also trained to provide emotional support to health care providers, patients and family who have been affected by a critical incident. Even after reporting an event if you find yourself affected by the event please call us for support.
You may remain anonymous when you call. However, the name of the patient, client or resident involved is essential.
Your calls help make for a safer health care system for everyone. There is no event or concern too small. If in doubt please call. Our goal is to reduce preventable injuries to those under the care of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) providers. For examples of past events and changes that have happened as a result please read these Safety Learning Summaries.
